The eggs found in a fish are called as Fish roe, they are found in sacs with millions of tiny eggs inside.My grandparents being from a coastal region this is a recipe that has been carried down in the family.We were to cut fish at culinary school and we all found fish roe in the fish and so I brought it home to make this dish.
Ingredients:
3. Add the fish roe and mix well. Sprinkle little water, cover with a lid and cook for about 10-15 minutes on a medium- low flame until done.Adjust spices to your taste.

2 medium Onions diced
2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

2 sprigs curry leaves

2. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 1-2 minutes on medium flame. Add curry leaves, tomato paste, coconut and spice powders and saute 3-4 more minutes till oil oozes out.
3. Add the fish roe and mix well. Sprinkle little water, cover with a lid and cook for about 10-15 minutes on a medium- low flame until done.Adjust spices to your taste.
Tips:
Fish Roe will feel dry so this recipe does require some oil.
The spices help take away the fishy smell from the dish, do adjust spices to your taste level.
