Also called as Cluster beans or Gawar beans or Gorikay are very versatile to make stir fried curries.Heres a simple recipe with carrots and coconut and no onion and garlic.The sweetness of the carrot balances the base taste of the beans and the coconut adds a nice crunch to the vegetable.

Ingredients:
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon urad dal
1 teaspoon chana dal
2-3 teaspoons oil/ghee
1/4 cup fresh grated coconut
4 cups diced cluster beans
1 cup finely diced carrots
1 sprig curry leaves
salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
Procedure:
1.Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds and let splutter.Add the chana dal, urad dal and cumin seeds and saute for 1/2 minute until dals are light brown, add the curry leaves and let splutter.
2.Add the beans and add salt and saute for 2-3 minutes on medium heat.Add a little water and cover with a lid and let cook for about 8-10 minutes until almost cooked.
3.Add the carrot and red chili powder and saute for 2-3 minutes until carrot is cooked.
4.Now add the coconut and stir until combined, adjust salt and red chili powder and turn off the stove.
Tips:
You can also add peanut powder instead of coconut for a twist.
