Ingredients:
1 cup macadamia nuts
1 cup unsweetened coconut
1/3 cup craisins or any dry fruit mix
1/3 cup oats
1 teaspoon coconut oil
1 cup pitted mejdool dates
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon honey
Procedure:
1.Slightly toast the macadamia nuts and oats separately on a dry pan for a minute and keep aside.
2.Pulse the oats in the food processor to a coarse texture.
3.Add the remaining ingredients and honey and pulse until the mixture starts to come together in a lump.
4.Line a 9 by 9 baking sheet and apply the coconut oil on the bottom and transfer the mixture to it, press down firmly with your fingers to form a sheet.
5.Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 mins or so before cutting them into bars and cover and store in parchment paper in the refrigerator.
Tips:
Make sure your dates have no pits or your food processor will damage
You can also add dehydrated pineapple,flax seeds, chocolate chips etc to this.
