Rose water can be used as a flavoring agent in foods like baklava,noughat,rice etc or an excellent skin toner.You can make it at home and fresh with these simple steps.
Preparation time:20 minutes
Serves:multiple
Ingredients:
4 cups loosely packed rose petals(washed)
2 cups water
Procedure:
1.Bring the water to boil and add the rose petals and turn down the heat to simmer and let simmer for 5 minutes until the petals lose the color.
2.Drain the petals and collect the water and let cool and store in the refrigerator until required for use.
Tips:
Use organic roses when using for food,normal roses can be full of pesticides.
For rose syrup add 2 cups sugar in the final water obtained and let simmer to form a thicker but flowy consistency.
Apply on your skin each night before bed or when you come home from sun for refreshing the skin.
