White Chocolate Buttercream

I experimented on this buttercream and I think is one of the best buttercream so far, both the taste and the ease to ice a cake.It holds shape well and can be used under a fondant.
Preparation time:5 minutes
Serves:4-5 cups of icing

Ingredients:
12 ounces white baking chocolate chopped
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup solid vegetable shortening
1 cup butter
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 pound confectioners' sugar

Procedure:
1.Melt the white chocolate chips in 15 minute intervals until completely melted.

2.Whisk the whipped cream and 1 cup sugar until stiff peaks form.

3.Combine the melted white chocolate with the butter, shortening and vanilla

4.Mix in the remaining sugar. My cake wasnt very sweet so I made the buttercream a bit sweeter, adjust to your taste.

5.Fold in the whipped cream and spread on your favorite cake.

Tips:
This has to be used immediately after mixing onto the cake,it hardens slightly after some time
My cake wasnt very sweet so I made the buttercream a bit sweeter, adjust sugar to your taste.
