Basic Tofu-Vegetable Stir Fry

Stir Frys are Chinese way of cooking food in a Wok pan.They use a multitude of vegetables often combined with some kind of meat and sauces.These can be eaten with noodles or rice.Stir Frys are a great way to add more vegetables to your diet.
Preparation time:20 minutes
Serves:2

Ingredients:
Stir Fry Sauce (4 times the recipe)
1/2 cu sugar snap peas
1/2 cup bell peppers
1/2 cup onions
1/2 cup mushrooms
2 cloves garlic minced
2 oz noodles
3 teaspoons oil
 4 oz extra firm tofu cubed

Procedure:
1.Add 1 teaspoon oil in a wok and saute the snap peas for 1-2 minutes until they just turn color and keep aside.Do not overcook.

2.Add some oil in the wok and add the onions and bell peppers and saute for 2 minutes and keep aside.

3.Add add mushrooms and saute for 2-3 minutes and keep aside.

4.In another pan bring water to a boil and add your noodles and cook and drain.

5.Add the remaining oil,add the garlic and saute for 1 minute and add the sauce and let cook for 1 minute.

6.Now add the tofu and mix,then add all the sauted vegetables and the  noodles and stir once,adjust salt and turn off the stove.




Tips:
The secret to a great stiry fry is crunchy vegetables so it is important not to overcook them.
