Lettuce wraps are an Asian preparation of chicken stuffed in lettuce leaves with a crunchy, sweet and spicy taste. These are served in the restaurant P.F Changs in the US.This recipe is a slight variation to the lettuce wraps served at P.F.Changs.
Preparation time:20 minutes
Serves: 6-8 lettuce wraps

1 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
1 pound ground chicken
1 large onion, chopped
2 tablespoons garlic, minced or pressed

2 teaspoons minced ginger
8 ounce diced water chestnuts
1 bunch green onions sliced
salt to taste
Iceberg lettuce leaves rinsed
Fried noodles (optional)
1 tablespoon roasted peanuts
Procedure:
1.In a medium skillet on medium heat, warm 1/2 tablespoon
sesame oil. Add the onions, water chestnuts, garlic, ginger, green onions.
2.In a separate pan heat the remaining sesame oil and add the chicken and let cook on both sides for
about 7 minutes or until the pinkness disappears, Break it up into smaller
chunks as it cooks.
3.Add the Teriyaki sauce and sriracha and add the onion
mixture and stir until completely coated. Adjust salt.Place fried noodles on the lettuce and add the chicken mixture and few peanuts on top and serve.(I did not use the noodles/peanuts)
