A sweet and savory appetizer with sweet potato and paneer.
Preparation time:40 minutes

Ingredients:
1/2 medium onion chopped
3 button mushrooms chopped
1 1/2 grated sweet potato
8 green chili minced
4 oz paneer grated(1/2 cup)
1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
salt to taste
1/4 teaspoon chat masala
2 teaspoon oil or butter
2 eggs
1 puff pastry sheet
Procedure:
1.Preheat oven to 380 degrees F.
2.Saute onions and mushrooms for 2 minutes.
3.Add grated sweet potato and saute for 3 minutes.
4.Add the minced green chili, ginger garlic paste and salt
and mix.
5.Turn off the stove and mix in the paneer and the chat
masala, coriander powder, garam masala powder and let cool.
6.Cut 2 1/2 inch diameter circles in the puff pastry sheet
with a lid or glass or cookie cutters.
7.Grease your tart pans or your muffin pans with oil and
place each puff pastry circle in it.
8.Add 2 eggs to the sweet potato mixture and mix well.
9.Place the mixture in each tart and bake for 25 minutes.
Tips:
The sweet potato can be replaced with regular potatoes.
Add some red chili powder to the mixture if you need more
spice.
Serve with a drizzle of sriracha or tomato ketchup or maggi sweet and spicy ketchup on top.
The same mixture can be used to make vegetable puffs by folding in the mixture.
You can also add peas to this mixture.
